NOTE: The steps illustrated in the following partition resizing methods are the same in both Windows 11 and Windows 10. In case you’re wondering if it’s safe to resize partitions, the answer is yes, in general. However, it doesn’t hurt, and I’d recommend you have a backup of your data before making any changes to your partitions, as there is always a risk of data loss or corruption when handling drives like this.

1.1. How to exit Safe Mode on Windows 10 You can restart Windows 10 while in Safe Mode, just like you do when you’re running Windows 10 normally. There are multiple ways to reboot a Windows 10 computer, but one of the simplest ones is to open the Start Menu, press the Power button in the lower-left corner, and click or tap Restart.
NOTE: To write this guide, I used a Google Pixel 4a and a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. However, because every step is identical on both smartphones, I’m using only one set of screenshots, taken on the official Android 13 version installed on the Pixel 4a. As this is a feature found in Android’s Google settings, you should have the exact same steps and screens regardless of who made your smartphone or tablet.

How to Start the Video App in Windows 8.1 If you don’t have a tile for the Video app on the Start screen, the easiest way to open it is by going to the Start screen and typing “video”. Then, select the Video result from the list. Another way of opening Video is through the Apps view: go to the Start screen and move the cursor to the bottom left corner of the screen, just below the last tile on the first column.
How to enable Advanced Sharing in Windows By default, both Windows 10 and Windows 7 use a sharing wizard to let you share folders with your local network. You can find more information in this tutorial: How to share folders and libraries, with the network, in Windows. However, the sharing wizard gives you few sharing customization options. If you want detailed control over how you share folders in Windows, or if you just prefer the old-school approach, you can and should enable Windows’ Advanced Sharing features.
What is StandBy on your iPhone? The new StandBy feature in iOS 17 is what I’d call an iPhone nightstand mode. I say that because StandBy allows you to turn your iPhone into a smart display that shows useful information while you charge and place it on a side in landscape mode. When these criteria are met, your iPhone will automatically show you different widgets, photos, or clock screens.
An iPhone in StandBy mode So, would you like to have your iPhone transform into a smart display whenever you put it on your nightstand?

1. Sign in to Windows 10 using a Password The most basic and widely used method to authenticate and sign in to Windows 10 is via your user account password. On the sign-in screen, select your account in the bottom-left corner (if you have more than one account), enter your password, press Enter on your keyboard, or click the arrow on the right side of the password. It doesn’t matter whether you’re using a Microsoft account or an offline account: this method works just the same for both types of Windows 10 user accounts.
NOTE: Before signing out of Windows, make sure you save all your work. Signing out closes all applications for the current user, and although Windows will display a warning message if there is unsaved work, it’s much safer to just save it beforehand.
