What is PPPoE and what does it mean? PPPoE is an acronym that stands for Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet. PPPoE is a networking protocol that derived from another, older protocol, called PPP, which you guessed, stands for Point-to-Point Protocol. What is the processor base clock? You should first understand what the processor (CPU - Central Processing Unit) base clock is. The base clock is a processor’s standard speed or operating frequency.
